The problem

You're posting every day. But who are you up against?

Without a point of comparison, an engagement rate doesn’t tell you much. Manually tracking competitors takes hours every week.

Stop…

…scrolling through competitors' accounts one by one and tracking everything in a spreadsheet.

Open each profile, count posts, copy follower and like counts. An hour every week, and numbers that are already outdated the next day.

Stop…

…guessing which formats and topics work for your competitors.

Your competitor posts plenty of Reels, but which ones drive engagement? Their promotions, tips, or community content? Without a breakdown, you’re relying on assumptions instead of data.

Reels ?

Carrousels ?

"It seems to work"

Stop…

…presenting organic metrics without a benchmark.

“Is a 3.1% engagement rate good?” Your client or management asks. Without competitor data, you don’t have the answer.

3.1% engagement rate

Content pillars & top posts

See what they're talking about. And what drives engagement.

A competitor’s posts are grouped by content pillars. See how much of their content each topic represents, then explore the posts that drive the most engagement.

Content pillars: a breakdown of an account’s topics over the selected period.
Post grid: likes, comments, and engagement for each post.
Reels and videos tab with views to compare short-form content formats.
Filters by content pillar and media type: Reels, carousels, or images.

Good to know: Competitor Spy uses public data only. A competitor’s reach, impressions, and private analytics are never visible.

Brief IA & Live Advisor

A competitor's posts, a plan for next month.

AI analyzes a profile’s posts over the selected period and creates an organic strategy brief. For deeper insights, ask Live Advisor your questions.

A structured brief: what’s working, top-performing formats, posting frequency, and ideas to test.
Regenerate it at any time, for a fresh analysis or a different date range.
Live Advisor queries Competitor Spy: ask your question with Ctrl + J, and get answers based on tracked metrics.
Your own accounts for comparison: Instagram and Facebook Pages connect through Meta Business, under the Social tab.

Good to know: The brief is based only on the profile’s public posts. Live Advisor uses your plan’s token quota: 500K on Premium and 2M on Unlimited.

social media manager FAQ

Your questions, our answers.

Which social networks can I track?
Instagram, Facebook Pages, and TikTok. You can compare 2 to 5 profiles side by side, as long as they’re on the same platform.
Do the profiles need to be public?
yes. Competitor Spy only tracks public profiles. You simply paste the profile URL without needing access to the account.
What data can you see for a competitor?
Public data: followers and follower growth, published posts, likes, comments, reel and video views, and content pillars. A competitor’s reach, impressions, and all private statistics are not accessible.
Can I track my own accounts?
Yes. Connect your Instagram account and Facebook Page using the Meta Business connector: your metrics will appear in the project’s Social tab. Live Metrics’ TikTok connector covers advertising, not your account’s organic analytics.
